This charming Victorian Lodge House dates back to 1840 and once formed part of the Byrkley Estate which was owned by the Bass family of brewing fame and is now a family home.

The approach is down a long drive flanked by 100 year old Horse Chestnut trees.

East Lodge is idyllically situated to explore the Derbyshire and Staffordshire countryside yet only a few minutes from the A38 providing fast links to the M6 and M42 motorways.

The A50 T just a few miles to the north provides a quick link to the north west and eastwards to the M1.

Mainline rail services operate from Burton on Trent and Lichfield.

East Midlands airport is about 20 miles away while Birmingham International Airport and the NEC are about 30 miles away.

One thing you can be assured of East Lodge is a retreat from the hustle and bustle of life where you will wake up to bird song instead of traffic at this family run guest house where good service is second to none.
